During this practical 2 Day course, you will learn how to work effectively with actors. Discover the skills you need to work as a professional director and techniques to build a collaborative working relationship with the actors and film crew.

Unlock the actor’s talents so that they’ll be able to deliver truthful performances on set and in the finished film.

Whether you are a budding director, actor or someone with experience from other industries this course will equip you with the tools required to start your journey as a director.

• The role of the director as part of the film crew
• How to communicate effectively with actors
• How to create a dynamic and collaborative bond with the actors and crew
• Interpreting the script with actors and crew
• Rehearsing the actor and identifying when to step back
• Casting- the importance of getting the right actors for the role
• You’ll be working in a small group with a high ratio of mentors to student (max. 12 students to 1 mentor)
